SoftBank Signs $40 Billion Credit Agreement to Invest in OpenAI with 21 New Banks
Japanese SoftBank Group has attracted 21 new financial institutions to provide a $40 billion bridge loan intended for investment in OpenAI. The total share of new lenders is about $7 billion, with the largest participants — First Abu Dhabi Bank, GIC, and Standard Chartered — each contributing $1 billion.
