Google and partners introduce ARD specification for unified AI agent resource discovery

Google, together with Microsoft, GitHub, Hugging Face, Cisco, Databricks, GoDaddy, NVIDIA, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Snowflake, has released the Agentic Resource Discovery (ARD) specification. ARD is an open standard that allows AI agents to publish, discover, and verify external tools, APIs, and services across organizations, complementing existing protocols like MCP and OpenAPI.
