South Korean Telecom Operators Launch Sales of Ray-Ban Meta AI Glasses

South Korea's three major telecom operators — SK Telecom, KT, and LG Uplus — have begun selling the Ray-Ban Meta AI glasses, developed in collaboration between Meta and EssilorLuxottica. The glasses are priced at approximately $380 and come equipped with a 12-megapixel camera, speakers, and microphones. They include a built-in Meta AI assistant that can answer questions, identify objects, and translate text. SK Telecom is offering a special plan with 5GB of free data for AI functions. KT provides an optional Meta Care+ protection plan, while LG Uplus is offering discounts for bundled services. The glasses support hands-free calls and messaging and are available in various styles, with an updated version coming later this year featuring a display.
