OpenAI loses second executive this week as CRO Denise Dresser departs

Denise Dresser, who joined OpenAI as chief revenue officer in December after serving as CEO of Slack, announced she will leave in the coming weeks to pursue other opportunities. Dali Rajic, president and COO of Wiz, will take over the CRO role. This follows the departure of Brad Lightcap, special projects lead and former COO, who announced his exit two days ago. Dresser's departure is part of a series of major exits, including former AGI chief Fidji Simo and former CMO Kate Rouch. OpenAI stated that the next generation of models will change how work is done and how companies are built, and that Rajic will build the revenue operating system for this next phase. Dresser's exit also comes ahead of OpenAI's IPO, as the company submitted a confidential S-1 filing to the Securities and Exchange Commission in June.
