Grafana Labs has expanded Grafana Assistant, its AI-driven observability assistant, to enable natural language queries and correlate data from more than 30 different data sources. This update is a step toward unified observability, allowing operators, developers, and site reliability engineers to investigate failures, generate queries, and troubleshoot complex distributed systems without switching between multiple monitoring tools. The enhancement builds on the AI strategy announced at GrafanaCON 2026, positioning AI as an operational partner rather than just a chatbot.
