NVIDIA Showcases Graphics and Simulation Advances at SIGGRAPH with Agentic and Physical AI
NVIDIA
At SIGGRAPH, NVIDIA announced new technologies including the Cosmos 3 Edge world model, Synthetic Video Detector NIM microservice, and MCP integrations for creative tools. The keynote covered neural rendering, world models, and simulation advances for AI.
NVIDIA presented advances in graphics, neural rendering, simulation, and AI at SIGGRAPH, with a keynote by AI research leaders Neil Ashton, Edward Liu, and Ming-Yu Liu. They discussed techniques like 3D-guided neural rendering, AI physics for weather and climate, and world models via the NVIDIA Cosmos platform. New announcements include Cosmos 3 Edge, a 4-billion-parameter model for on-device real-time AI, and Cosmos-Dreams, closed-loop simulators for autonomous vehicles. NVIDIA also introduced the Synthetic Video Detector NIM microservice for media workflows, and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) connections enabling AI agents to work inside creative applications like Adobe, Affinity, Blender, and Unreal Engine.
