NVIDIA Alpamayo 2 Super, the Frontier Open Model for Robotaxis and Autonomous Vehicles, Now Available for Commercial Use

NVIDIA unveiled Alpamayo 2 Super, an open reasoning model for robotaxis and autonomous vehicles, now available for commercial use. It is part of the Alpamayo family, the most-adopted open reasoning models for autonomous driving on Hugging Face. Built on NVIDIA Cosmos 3 Super Reasoner and post-trained with reinforcement learning, the model excels in long-tail scenarios, fusing full-surround camera views and producing five outputs: trajectory, chain-of-causation traces, meta-action, reasoning auto-labels, and visual question answering with 2D grounding. Alpamayo 2 Super ranks first on LingoQA benchmark, outperforming competitors, and offers three times the scale of Alpamayo 1.5 and 1. Available on Hugging Face under the Linux Foundation's OpenMDW-1.1 license, it enables fine-tuning and commercial redistribution. The model integrates with NVIDIA Halos safety-validation and supports ISO/PAS 8800. It can also serve as an autolabeler, compressing annotation cycles from months to days. The broader ecosystem includes NVIDIA AlpaSim, AlpaGym, Physical AI Open Datasets, and training recipes. Alpamayo family has surpassed 500,000 downloads on Hugging Face.
