New Player Enters: Zhongke Huisi Launches Three Dexterous Hands at Once, Robot Band Performs Live

Zhongke Huisi, a new Chinese company specializing in dexterous hands for embodied intelligence, unveiled three products (L1, D1, M1) and pre-announced the F series in Changsha on August 7. The company aims to build a complete capability system for dexterous manipulation, moving beyond parameter comparison to real-world task performance.
Zhongke Huisi (Embodied Intelligence) (Hunan) Co., Ltd. held its debut event in Changsha, Hunan, on August 7, releasing three dexterous hand products: L1, D1, and M1, and pre-announcing the F-series cable-driven bionic dexterous hand. The company also introduced data collection capabilities such as data gloves and data collection toolchains. The L1 follows a lightweight, reduced-degree-of-freedom approach, focusing on cost-effectiveness, stability, and ease of deployment; at WAIC, a robot band named CASBOT BAND, equipped with L1 hands, played a live ensemble using real instruments. The D1 is positioned as a high-degree-of-freedom general-purpose five-finger hand with emphasis on flexibility and tactile sensing. The M1 targets modular, scenario-specific operations via a standardized body and functional fingertips. The F-series explores high-degree-of-freedom compliant manipulation using cable-driven bionic structures. Zhongke Huisi did not join the parameter race but proposed a dual-flywheel model of 'multi-series hardware × data collection'. The company's technology originates from Beijing Zhongke Huiling Robot Technology Co., Ltd., founded by Zhang Zhengtao, who is also a researcher at the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Zhongke Huisi is jointly established by Zhongke Huiling, Lens Technology, and Hunan Huaxia Investment Group. According to a report by GGII, China's dexterous hand market sales reached about 19,200 units in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 236.84%, with projections of 70,200 units in 2026 and over 430,000 units by 2030. The industry received about 57 financing rounds from 2023 to May 2026, totaling approximately 12.8 billion yuan. Zhongke Huisi has settled in Hunan Xiangjiang New Area and announced participation in building a professional dexterous hand skill training site.
