Microsoft fixes VS Code after app gives Copilot credit for human's work

Microsoft patched Visual Studio Code after a user reported on GitHub that the editor was attributing their work to the Copilot AI assistant. The user had created a commit in a JavaScript project the old-fashioned way, but VS Code gave credit to Copilot. Microsoft acknowledged the bug and fixed it in VS Code version 1.96. The attribution wording is set to change from 'Created by Copilot' to 'Generated by Copilot' in an unspecified future release. Microsoft also removed the 'Workspace Trusted' label on entries in the Quick Pick menu. The company commented that the extension had a bug causing the updated description to not show.
