Mesh, the relationship manager and personal CRM acquired by WordPress.com’s parent company Automattic last year, is now available on Android devices. The Android app supports split-screen and pop-up views, keyboard shortcuts for foldables and tablets, in-app search, home screen widgets with Material You colors, and real-time sync. Mesh and Automattic's messaging app Beeper already interoperate to some extent, and the company plans to add more AI features to help users manage relationships. Mesh's Nexus AI is in early access, allowing users to ask questions about their network, and the company is experimenting with voice-based hands-free experience and improved business-card scanning. Personal information in Mesh is not shared or used for ad targeting, as it's subscription-supported. About 70% of Mesh's customers use it for business purposes, but features are designed for both business and consumer use.
