KION Music Launches AI-Free Chart with New 'Real Chart' Section

KION Music has introduced a new 'Real Chart' section that excludes AI-generated tracks. The service reports that AI music now occupies about 30% of music charts, and the new chart is updated daily with only non-AI compositions. Users can still switch to the general chart with all popular tracks. The service uses the Slopless detector and a music editorial team to verify tracks.
KION Music has launched a new 'Real Chart' section on its website and app, from which AI-generated tracks are excluded. According to the service, since late 2025, the number of fully AI-generated tracks and AI artists has grown significantly, occupying about 30% of music charts. The 'Real Chart' is updated daily and includes only compositions not entirely created by AI. To analyze music, the service uses the Slopless detector, which identifies fully generated compositions with 83% accuracy. If the system cannot clearly classify a track, the final decision is made by the platform's music editorial team. Using neural networks as an auxiliary tool is not prohibited; the restriction applies only to compositions fully created by artificial intelligence. Danila Konstantinov, director of KION Music, stated that the decision to create the 'Real Chart' is a reaction to the integration of AI tools, not a call for boycott but a proposal of choice. Earlier, KION appointed Konstantinov as director of the streaming service, replacing Daniil Kryuchkov who held the post for less than a year. Konstantinov previously worked at Yango, developed HeadHunter in Russia and CIS, and led InDrive in South Asia, being included in Forbes '30 under 30' ranking.
