xAI has released the Grok 4.3 model on the Amazon Bedrock platform. The model features a configurable reasoning level, support for tool calling, structured output, and image input, running on the Mantle engine. Access to the model is via OpenAI-compatible APIs.
xAI, in collaboration with AWS, announced the launch of the Grok 4.3 model on the Amazon Bedrock platform. The model supports configurable reasoning effort (none, low, medium, high) and accepts text and images, with a context window of 1 million tokens. According to xAI, Grok 4.3 demonstrated the lowest hallucination rate in the Artificial Analysis Omniscience benchmark and achieved top rankings in benchmarks for tool calling and document understanding. The model runs on the Mantle engine, which uses OpenAI-compatible APIs, so Grok 4.3 can be invoked via the OpenAI SDK or directly through the Chat Completions and Responses APIs. It supports tool calling, structured output in JSON Schema format, and stateful dialogues with history storage on the server side. Three pricing tiers are available: Standard, Priority, and Flex. Currently, the model is available in the us-west-2 region, and only in-region inference is used.
