In a live demo, users asked to find restaurants with specific menu items, and orders were placed via Toast, an official collaborator. For hotels, users can ask for places meeting criteria like star rating and proximity to restaurants, and book through Google's partners. Personal Intelligence, a new Gemini assistant integrated with Gmail, helps plan outings by using flight and hotel confirmations to suggest nearby restaurants. Google announced these features ahead of its Made by Google event, where leaks suggest only incremental hardware upgrades, emphasizing AI enhancements across its ecosystem. Since 2024, Google has added AI features to Photos and productivity tools like Docs and Gmail.
