As of June 2026, the number of AI enterprises has surpassed 6,600, accounting for 15% of the global total, forming a complete industrial system covering infrastructure, model frameworks, and industry applications. Morgan Stanley predicts that global cloud capital expenditure will reach $1.2 trillion in 2027, a 30% increase year-on-year, which is $170 billion higher than the estimate made before the second quarter. The company noted that the four major US hyperscale cloud service providers still face capacity constraints as AI demand continues to outpace supply. Alphabet, Amazon, and Meta have all raised their capital expenditure guidance for 2026, while Microsoft has maintained its spending outlook.
