Avito Rabota and Netology: Nearly Half of Working Russians Already Use Neural Networks in Work Tasks
A joint study by Avito Rabota and Netology reveals that 48% of working Russians use AI for professional tasks, and one in ten found a new job thanks to these skills. Employers are increasingly including AI competencies in job requirements, with 30% of respondents encountering such demands.
According to a joint survey by Avito Rabota and the educational platform Netology, 48% of employed Russians use artificial intelligence for professional tasks, with 17% using it regularly and 31% occasionally. Among young specialists aged 18-24, the usage rate is 66%, while among those 55-64 it is 40% and over 65 it is 38%. Only 8% of respondents reported encountering mandatory AI skill requirements in job postings, while 23% saw them as an advantage. Half of respondents use AI for career growth, 16% received a promotion, 12% increased their income, and 10% got a new job thanks to AI skills. AI is also transforming job searching: 38% have used neural networks for this purpose, with the highest usage among youth (64% for 18-24). Common uses include resume writing (29%), adapting resumes (24%), finding offers (23%), and interview preparation (23%). Avito Rabota's Kirill Pshenichnykh expects this trend to strengthen, while Netology's Anton Fedorov notes that AI has become a basic tool, leading to high demand for applied courses, with over 27,000 specialists trained in 2025, particularly in business, marketing, and data analysis.
