Anthropic to woo investors with healthcare and medicine successes to prove AI's value

Anthropic, preparing for an IPO in September or October, is holding meetings with investors to calm fears amid growing uncertainty about the AI sector. Concerns include the rising popularity of cheaper Chinese AI models, contradictions with the Trump administration, and protests against data center construction in the U.S. The company says it will focus on creating advanced models that maintain an edge over Chinese competitors, and will present new evidence of AI's effectiveness, especially in healthcare and biology, to improve public perception. Demand for Claude Code and other popular tools remains high, and Anthropic is renting computing power even from competitor SpaceX. In May, the startup's annualized revenue reached $47 billion.
