Anthropic has reportedly signed a $10 billion deal with AI cloud startup Volta, according to Bloomberg. The deal will see Volta provide cloud compute to Anthropic over a six-year period. Volta, founded earlier this year, is partnering with Bitdeer, a crypto-mining company, to develop a data center in Norway with 133 megawatts of capacity. The facility will use Nvidia's Vera Rubin systems, the chipmaker's state-of-the-art AI chip architecture. Volta is part of Nvidia's Cloud Partner program, which uses Nvidia GPUs in data centers.
