The AI project 'Chistaya Territoriya' was launched on August 1, 2023, in the Moscow Region. Over three years, AI has helped eliminate more than 550,000 violations on the region's streets. According to the Ministry of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the Moscow Region, the project connects over 80,000 surveillance cameras monitoring 8,100 courtyards and 4,000 container sites. The AI identifies 16 types of violations, including graffiti, litter, potholes, and non-working lamps. When a violation is detected, AI automatically assigns a task to the responsible organization, and after the deadline, it re-checks the location. The top five violations include litter at container sites (290.4K cases), overflowing waste containers (57.6K), overflowing urns (57.6K), litter on territory (50.4K), and unauthorized advertising/graffiti (42.9K). The project has helped reduce complaints about courtyards by 18% and about container sites by 51%. More information is available on the 'Digital Region' portal.
